South Chungcheong Province (previous)
The previous flag of South Chungcheong Province, in the west of South Korea, was a vertical tricolour of yellow, white and green, with in the white stripe (twice wider than the others) in blue, a symbol that could depict Mount Gyeryong, at 845 metres the most notable elevation, located in a national park which is noted for its unique rock features. Also in blue is the name of the province, Chungcheongnam-do in Korean Han'gul script.
