Deoksugung Palace, Seoul

Junghwajeon hall

Junghwajeon (Throne Hall), the main hall at Deoksugun. It stands on a woldae (broad, 2-tiered, stone terrace). In front is a courtyard paved in stone with stone markers that indicate the positions where officials would stand during royal ceremonies.
