Eternal Rome, Italy’s capital
Ponte Mazzini, originally called Gianicolense, connects the Tiber embankment opposite Via Giulia with Via della Lungara. This bridge was built in 1904-1908 and is 106 metres long, one of the shortest bridges over the Tevere (Tiber). It was named after Giuseppe Mazzini, an activist for the unification of Italy in the 19th century.
