Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy’s North East
The Forense Roman Basilica on the Piazza della Cattedrale, the site of a first century Basilica which was uncovered in the early twentieth century during the construction of the nearby monument to the fallen. Behind it is the San Giusto Castle (Castello di San Giusto), built between 1468 and 1636.
