Piemonte
Piedmont (Piemont in Piedmontese and Occitan) is a region in the north west of Italy; its capital is Turin. The main local language is Piedmontese, while Occitan and Franco-Provençal are also spoken in some regions. The flag for Piemonte is really the arms of the prince of Piemonte, the traditional title of the eldest son of the king of Sardinia: it shows the arms of Savoy with a blue device. It was adopted in 1995.
