Mosaic, Monastery of Kykkos

A mosaic depiction of the Virgin Mary with Jesus at he Holy Monastery of the Virgin of Kykkos, at an altitude of 1318 metres on the north-west face of Troodos Mountains. It was founded around the end of the 11th century by the Byzantine emperor Alexios I Komnenos.
