Paphos, the south-west of Cyprus
Surviving pillars of the House of Theseus, a building like a palace, in Kato Paphos Archaeological Park. Its construction began in the 2nd century CE, and it underwent many modifications. Inhabited until the 7th century, it was the official seat of the proconsul, the Roman governor of Cyprus.
