Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios Mansion

The gable stone with the Venetian winged Lion of St. Mark, at Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios Mansion, he most prominent example of urban architecture of the last century of Ottoman rule that survives in old Nicosia. It is the house where the dragoman Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios and his family lived from 1793 to 1808.
