The view north towards Turkish North Nicosia with its Selimiye Mosque, (formerly Cathedral of Saint Sophia), from the 11th floor of the Shacolas Tower, a highrise building completed in the 1990s in old Nicosia. At left Ledra Street and in the distance the huge flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus flag on the hillside of the Kyrenia Mountains above Taşkent.
