Larnaca, on the south-east coast of Cyprus
The baroque iconostasis in the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Lazarus in Larnaca, built over the reputed (second) tomb of Lazarus, found here in 890. The woodcarving was done between 1773 and 1782 and gold-plated between 1793 and 1797. After a fire it was partially restored and re-plated with gold between 1972 and 1974.
