Viñales Valley, a living cultural landscape
The workshop built in the manner of the dwellings that were built by Cuban aboriginal groups before the Spanish. It leads to the garden with sculptures by Noel Diaz Gala, called “Raices” (Roots). The sculptures are mostly of persons and animals, rather fantastic, some including religious elements. The artist does not damage the environment, since he uses dead trees that already had fallen by themselves.
