Callejón de Hamel

Brightly-coloured murals decorate the buildings along Callejón de Hamel, a narrow alley between Aramburu and Hospital streets in Central Havana. This area has become a shrine to Afro-Cuban religions; there are paintings, sculptures and objects depicting rituals and deities.
