Habana Vieja, Old Havana
The courtyard of the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales Casa de gobierno, the former official residence of the governors of Havana, on the eastern side of the Plaza de Armas in Old Havana. It was built between 1776 and 1792, with bricks from Málaga, wrought-iron grilles from Bilbao and marble from Genoa. It was used by US military governors from 1899 until 1902 and then as the presidential palace until 1920; it now is the Museum of the City of Havana.
