Cienfuegos, the Pearl of the South
Palacio de Valle, in La Punta, the southernmost point of Cienfuegos, a Spanish-Moorish palace housing a seafood restaurant, historical exhibits and rooftop bar. It was built between 1913 and 1917 by Acisclo del Valle Blanco, a Spaniard from Asturias, with Italian architect Alfredo Colli and foreman Juan Suarez and is reminiscent of Spanish-Moorish art with influences of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque and Mudejar arts.
