Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia, 1868 (official)
In 1868 the Kingdoms of Slavonia and Croatia, separate Habsburg Crown Lands, were united into the single Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia. Its official flag resembled the 1848 flag: a red-white-blue with a shield displaying the arms of Dalmatia and Croatia at the top and Slavonia below. The Crown of Saint Stephen, the coronation crown of the Kingdom of Hungary, crowned the emblem. The Kingdom of Dalmatia, however, remained a separate Austrian Crown Land until the end of the First World war and the monarchy in 1918.
