Miskha Mayu group

Dancers of the Miskha Mayu group in the Pujllay festival in the village of Tarabuco. The Bolivian Pujllay is also connected to the celebration of a battle won over the Spaniards - hence the “Montero” headdress resembling the Spanish helmets and “gallu-gallus”, jangling spurs in the ritual dance.
