Canberra - Australia’s Capital City
The Holden Prototype No.1 sedan in the National Museum of Australia. It is the only survivor of the original three test cars shipped in 1946 from General Motors in the United States to Fishermans Bend, Victoria. Australia's first mass-produced car was the Holden 48-215 - later commonly called the FX - that rolled off the assembly line at Fishermans Bend, Victoria, on 29 November 1948.
